Father’s Day special – Easy recipe of making Cham Cham

Yummy Food World provides yummy and easy recipes of nepali food so that anyone can learn to cook it easily within some minutes. As usual today, we are showing you the easy recipe of making sweet dish Cham Cham.
Cham Cham is a popular Bengali Mithai. The recipe looks much similar to Rasbari but these Cham Cham’s are much more tastier than the conventional Rasbari. We can make many variations of the prepared cham chams. We can serve the Cham Cham soaked in freshly prepared Malai. We can slit the Cham Cham and stuff it with khuwa(kurauni) and Pistachios.
Here are the necessary ingredients to make yummy Cham Cham: 2 liter whole cow milk, 100 grams mava (Kurauni), 1 cup sugar and 4 cup of water for syrup, 1 tbsp water for colour, 1/2 tsp cardamom powders, 2 ½ tbsp lemon, few saffron strands, 1 pinch red colour and some pistachios.
Now let’s begin. First, boil milk. Stir it once slowly and as milk starts boiling turn off the flame. As after while add lemon and stir it gently. Now strain milk in a piece of neat towel. Now open it add and cold water in strained milk. Let it cool for one hour.
After an hour, open the clothes from milk knead it as shown in the video for 5-6 minutes or till it gets softer nicely. Then, start rolling it taking small piece of milk as shown in the video. Now make sugar syrup or cham cham. Heat pan adding sugar and water.
Once sugar dissolves well with water add some cardamom powders and saffron. Saffron is not so important. Then add cham cham we made earlier and cook it for 15 min putting its lid on. Open it and keep it in plate. Now make filling for it as shown in the video and follow the further recipes as shown in video to complete the recipe of cham cham.
