Nepal Idol is the first international singing reality program in Nepal and Nepalese television history. It broadcasts from AP1 TV, Nepal. Nhoo Bajracharya, Indira Joshi and Kali Prasad Baskota are choosen as the judges for the first season of Nepal Idol, 2017.

The series aims to find new solo recording artists from all over Nepal and the winner would be decided by viewers’ votes through the internet, telephone or a text messages. People in country as well as out of country can vote their favorite contestant and can help them to win the title Nepal Idol 2017.

The first season of Nepal Idol 2017 competition is running currently. And for the competition there was taken audition from seven different cities of Nepal including Nepalgunj, Butwal, Narayangarh, Birjung, Biratnagar, Pokhara and Kathmandu in different dates.

Recently, the 25th episode of Nepal Idol has been compelted which is also elimination round. In the Nepal Idol Gala Round Episode 25, Ulson Shrestha was eliminated because of public’s lowest vote. And noe only Top 7 contestants are left in Nepal Idol and they are: Buddha Lama, Pratap Das, Suraj Thapa, Sagar Ale, Pramila Rai and Sujata Pandey.
